Manufacturing small industrial very thin plastic washers in a professional and scientific

Welcome to Nylonic

At Nylonic, we manufacture precision nonmetallic components—from nylon washers and shims to PTFE gaskets, acetal spacers, and custom stamped parts.

Our process combines in-house extrusion, slitting, and stamping, giving us full control over quality, tolerances, and lead times. Every part we produce reflects our belief that performance begins with precision.

Based in the United Kingdom, Nylonic brings together decades of experience in engineering plastics, extrusion, and component fabrication. We serve industries where reliability and accuracy are critical: automotive, aerospace, marine, construction, and general industrial manufacturing.

Our mission is simple: To deliver consistent, high-quality, nonmetallic components engineered to meet demanding specifications and delivered with responsive service.

Why Clients Choose Nylonic

Integrated Manufacturing Process

Unlike many component suppliers who rely on third-party conversion, Nylonic manages the entire process in-house—from polymer extrusion to slitting, stamping, and final inspection.

This full control allows us to:

  • Maintain tight dimensional tolerances across large production runs

  • Minimize variability between batches

  • Deliver faster lead times by eliminating outside processing delays

  • Ensure full traceability from raw material to finished part

Our facility houses dedicated extrusion, cutting, and stamping lines, allowing for efficient production of thin-gauge engineering plastics in both continuous strip and individual component formats.

Material Expertise and Technical Support

Our strength lies in our deep understanding of engineering plastics and their performance characteristics.

We help customers choose the right material by analyzing environmental conditions such as temperature, chemical exposure, moisture absorption, friction, and load requirements.

Common materials include:

  • Nylatron GS: Nylatron is an extruded (or cast) nylon with the added benefits of MOS2, creating greater resistance to friction and increasing surface lubricity

  • Nylon 6.6: Nylon 6.6 is the most widely used component material globally.

  • PP: Polypropylene is a plastic that delivers excellent chemical resistance to acids and moisture.
